CHICKEN AND THE WOLF BRANDING

When we were approached to rebrand the best hot chicken spot in Tulsa, Oklahoma, we were already craving it. It’s not often that we get to work on a brand from our hometown, so getting the chance to collaborate with one of our favorite lunch spots was a real treat.
Founded by Philip and Danielle Philips, the restaurant first opened in 2018 at Mother Road Market, a food hall. As they prepared to launch their first brick-and-mortar location and another food hall spot, they decided it was the perfect time for a rebrand. While their previous brand had served them well, it didn’t offer much beyond a color palette and logo. They wanted a bold, fun, and slightly abrasive visual identity, and we delivered just that.
We created a fully realized brand, complete with its own font, a wide range of assets, the freedom to push boundaries with fun merchandise, and even a skate team. One of the proudest moments of our career was seeing the giant neon sign we designed light up their flagship location on Route 66.
